I am wood! And, I am alive! I understand that you are contemplating on the possibility of getting into a relationship with me and express my gratitude for the same. Though you have chosen the right medium in Sarangdev for this betrothal, I would like to come clean on my natural attributes that could be a source of a lifetime of joy if you accept the way I need to respond, at times, in vastly varying conditions of human habitat. I would like to state a few as follows:
Left to my natural ways, I could be completely out of control in splitting and cracking, especially in very warm conditions, but, the meticulous engineering practices of Sarangdev leave very little room for me to do so. However, some shallow voids can appear on the surface that are very easy to mend and are barely discernible post repair. These barely recur after a year in stable environment.
With imaginative proprietary engineering practices followed by Sarangdev, I am completely restricted from twisting in any direction but minor undulations, especially in very long and wide pieces, can occur at times but are very insignificant to create any functional issues.
I and my ilk within the species are very similar in character yet, we have our individual streaks that gets reflected in my appearance by way of varied shades and grains that range from subtle to bold. People often confuse me with my distant cousin ‘veneer’ that is a fraction of my mass and cannot be explored beneath its surface.
Although I have absolute faith in Sarangdev’s integrity and ability to handle me, I have honestly stated my compulsions that are beyond anybody’s control.
Let us get into this relationship if we respect each other’s divinity.
